HAMILTON MEATS

The cattle are processed at Hamilton Meats in Weatherford, Texas, where Bill and Jeanie join their daughter and son-in-law, Misty and Mario Maldonado as the new owners. Many might recognize the name Hamilton Meats as it’s been in business over 50 years, but it’s getting quite the facelift. While it may seem familiar, many changes have been made, both operationally and aesthetically. An old-timey meat market is offered, along with a full-time butcher providing choices of beef, chicken, pork, smoked meats, and cheeses. Commercial accounts are welcome in both the sales and processing areas! State inspected meat processing is available for both commercial and individual customers for cattle, domestic hogs, sheep, and goats. Commercial labeling is available at no additional charge. Hamilton Meats is open Monday-Friday, 8-5 and Saturday, 8-12. Texas Star Ranch Beef is owned and operated by Bill and Jeanie Brooks. Bill has been actively involved in the beef industry for his entire seventy years. Quarter, half, and whole beef are sold off the ranch where they are born and raised. The calves are fed on grass until they reach 800 pounds, then grain-finished the last 120 days. Their diet consists of all-natural feed free from hormones, antibiotics, or steroids. The cattle are not, and never will be, given mRna vaccines!

Whole beef sell for $5.25 lb, halves for $5.50 lb, and quarters for $5.75 lb. (hanging weight). Processing fees are included in this price.
